Paulaner Brauhaus – Singapore’s German microbrewery
Paulaner Bräuhaus claims to be Singapore’s only German microbrewery and restaurant. Their beers follow the Bavarian Purity Laws of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot), which state that the only ingredients allowed in beer are water, barley, and hops. Thus, their beers are clean, fresh, and distinctively Bavarian.
As for that Bavarian feel, it applies to the food and decor as well. Sausages served in skillets, Bavarian dishes on wooden blocks, and the ambiance of a traditional German beer hall that make you temporarily forget you’re in Singapore.
Paulaner Bräuhaus is located in the touristy area of Marina Bar area on Raffles, not far from Boat Quay and Clarke Quay.
