The Bee’s Knees Brewpub in Koh Samui brews fresh, local beer. They have a Pilsner style beer, a Porter with rich coffee and chocolate flavor, an English bitter, and a wheat beer with soft fruit flavors. They brew with hops from UK, Germany and Australia, and barley from Germany and Australia. Beers are very reasonably priced, and the owner, Jim, is a friendly guy from the UK who’s happy to have a chat about his brewing process.
Bee’s Knees is a nice spot. The beer is distinctly English in style, and although they don’t have any hoppy IPAs or pale ales on the menu, it’s still an excellent spot for some handcrafted beer on Koh Samui.
How to find: Bee’s Knees is located near Chaweng Beach, just a short drive or 20-minute walk from Chaweng’s strip. Following the road left past Central Festival Mall, the bar is a short walk and across the street from a large carwash.
